The Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA) governs company law, secured transactions, debt recovery and general commercial law across its 17 member states, including Côte d'Ivoire. For any business, this means a body of common rules — the Uniform Acts — directly applicable, with case law unified by the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (CCJA).
